Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti
On the 133rd Birth Anniversary of Dr . Babasaheb Ambedkar Akhandanand school had organised different competitions such as drawing, slogan writing etc. Students joyfully participated in the competitions . The students were given a description of life and works of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and explained his contribution to making of the Indian Constitution. On this occasion all the students were encouraged by distributing caps.
World Children's Book Day
"Books are the best friends". To inculcate this feeling from the roots an event was organised at Gujarat Sshitya Parishad . The students happily participated in this programme . Our school Principal addressed the students wherein he explained the benefits of developing the reading habits right from young age. It was really an interesting programme.
Traffic Safety Programme
A seminar was held in school regarding traffic safety and awareness among students. The students were asked about what problems they faced while commuting in various modes of transportation. Students were made aware of different ways to travel safely .
Farewell 2023-24
Goodbyes are always hard but when they are for any betterment then they are always worth appreciation. The students of class 10 and 12 were given heartfelt wishes on Farewell day by all the staff members . Our school Principal extended his warm wishes through an inspirational speech. The alumni members of Akhandanand Hindi High school were present as Chief Guest. Trophies were distributed to the students who had topped the school in 2023 board exam in classes 10 and 12. The students of class 12 were emotional as they shall embark on a completely new journey of their career. The students enjoyed the programme wholeheartedly.
Pariksha - Ek Parv 2024
With the board exams approaching nearer , District Education Office , Ahmedabad, aims to promote the importance of appearing for exams without any fear . Hence , the campaign of Pariksha - Ek Parv 2024 was organised in school wherein the students were guided for their board examination. Parents were also asked to avoid pressurising their children and provide a healthy and encouraging atmosphere at home.

Republic Day 2024
Republic Day It is always a matter of honour to celebrate this day with great joy and pride. The flag hoisting was done by the Chief Guest . The Chief Guest explained the importance of this day . It was followed by the speech of Principal Sir who motivated the staff with his precious words .
Sports Day Prize Distribution
The prizes were distributed to the winners who participated in different outdoor games on Sports Day held at Gujarat Vidyapith ground. The day is awaited by the students eagerly. Motivational speeches were delivered by the honourable Chief Guest and the Principal .
Shree Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav
It was a matter of joy, honour and pride that we all shall witness the historical moment of Shree Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav . To celebrate this glorious moment the school arranged a cultural programme wherein students participated and danced on songs depicting the life story of Shree Ram .
Kite distribution
To make the festival of Uttarayan more fun filled the school distributed kites and sweets among the students of primary classes. The faces of young kids gleamed with happiness and joy. They were also explained to fly kites safely .
Rashtriya Yuva Diwas (National Youth Day)
Swami Vivekanand Jayanti is celebrated as National Youth Day . This day is celebrated with primary objective to motivate and inspire the youth with the ideas and thoughts of Swami Vivekanand . The students expressed their thoughts and expressions by making drawings of Swami Vivekanand.
Farewell & Welcome gathering for Gyansahayak Teachers
It was a pleasure to have welcomed Gyansahayak teacher in our school . It is an opportunity created by Gujarat Government for schools to provide teachers to school after having passed the exam. It was farewell programme arranged for the Pravasi Teacher. Both were bestowed with best wishes for their new academic journey.
Picnic 2023
Our school had arranged school picnic for classes 6 to 12 . Students enjoyed the bus ride at different places . They visited the Rani ki Vav and Dinosaur park at Patan. They had delicious lunch in the afternoon. They also visited Surya Mandir at Modhera and Bahucharaji Temple . After reaching at Shankhalpur the students were served scrumptious dinner . The students and the school staff had gala time during the picnic and made great memories.
Sports Day 2023
"A healthy mind resides in a healthy body". This saying implies how important is sports in our lives. Hence Annual Sports Day was celebrated to mark the importance of sports in form of different games and activities . Students and staff enthusiastically participated in games. Cricket match was also arranged.
Gujarat Rajya Yoga Board
Gujarat Rajya Yoga Board has initiated the Surya Namaskar campaign to bring awareness amongst the students towards the importance of Surya Namaskar. Our school students also actively participated in this campaign and have enthusiastically registered their names for the competition.
Bal Vignyan Pradarshan
Students of Akhandanand Madhyamik Shala and Akhandanand Hindi Highschool participated in Bal vignyan pradarshan . They prepared models on rain water harvesting and presented it beautifully. The participants got an opportunity to encourage their scientific curiosity and inspire other students to participate in such activities.
Second term
The second term began with staff meeting. The Principal greeted the staff in second term and addressed them . The focus of the meeting was the discussion of different academic and co curricular activities.

The celebration of Diwali began with Dhanteras Puja held at school. The school staff joyously performed the puja. Sweets were distributed as per the school tradition .

The Parents -Teachers meeting was arranged for students of class 10 and 12. The aim was to discuss the result of term 1 exam . The students were guided for the mistakes they committed in writing answers. They were directed the areas where they can score better marks. It was fruitful meeting .
Shala Salamati Karyakram-2023
As per the Government campaign of Shala Salamati Karyakram-2023 the students were made aware of various natural and man made disasters and their remedies. Charts were displayed in the school campus . The students went through the charts showing the various situations like earthquakes, floods, accidents etc and also the ways to handle the same .
Navratri 2023
It was a great pleasure to have arranged the Navratri function in the school campus . The students and the staff were all decked up in colourful traditional attire. The function started with Maa Amba's Aarti followed by garba.
Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshan 2023-24
Akhandanand Prathamik Shala participated in Science Fair at district level . The school had won first prize at SVS level and participated and hence had been selected for district level.
Kalautsav 2023
Akhandanand High school students participated in Kala Utsav . One of the students had won first prize in painting competition and received cash prize as a gesture of encouragement.
Traffic Awareness Programme
To make the students aware of Traffic rule and its implementation a programme was conducted in school . The students were explained the importance of following the traffic and road safety rules to avoid accidents and hassle free traffic movements.

It was a matter of pride to have celebrated Hindi Diwas in school on 14 September,2023. On this day the students participated in various activities such as essay competition, drawing competition and elocution. The certificates were distributed to the winners. Our principal sir and madam gave speech regarding the importance and contribution of Hindi as national language. On this day the alumni of Akhandanand Hindi Highschool formed a committee to carry different social and educational activities in school .
Chandrayan 3
To honour and celebrate the success of Chandrayan 3 the school had organised different competitions in drawing , essay and project based on the respective subject. Prizes were distributed to best drawing and project. Students shared the information regarding the Chadrayan 3 mission.
Janmashtami utsav
Janmashtami was celebrated in school to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna . The students performed on Janmashtami theme based songs . They decked up in beautiful traditional attires and the whole atmosphere resonated with joy and festivity. Boys had dressed up as Krishna and girls as Radha .At the end of the function Matka fod ( pot filled with curd ) was also organised which added to the students' enthusiasm.
Teachers' Day Celebration
As a tribute to teachers the school celebrated Teachers Day in school . The day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. The students took over the charge of classrooms as teachers. They carried out their duties enthusiastically. Our Principal sir gave a motivational speech regarding the importance of teacher in shaping the career and future of students. The police staff also visited the school to honour the Principal and staff members. It was a proud moment for Akhandanand Shaikshanik Sankul staff.
Rakshabandhan celebration at school
As per the tradition the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated in the school . The girls happily tied rakhis on boys' wrist . The boys in return gave them gifts . It was nice to see that they understood the importance of brother sister relation.
Homage to our Late Managing trustee Shree Khodidas B Solanki
On 22/08/23 it was the first Death Anniversary of Late Shree Khodidas B Solanki. To honour this occasion and pay respect to such a great human being approximately 1000 Akhandanand school students were fed in the school campus . Students observed 2 minutes silence in the memory of Late Shree Khodidas B Solanki.
Meri Mati Mera Desh
Various programmes were conducted under this campaign from August 9 to August 15 to mark the celebration of the Independence Day and appreciate the sacrifice of our brave martyrs . The students and teachers participated in taking Panch Pran (pledge ). Other activities like drawing & essay competitions related to Independence Day were also conducted in school . Students heartily participated in this campaign.

Alumni Meet
It was a wonderful opportunity to have gathered the students of batches 1970-85 in the school campus. Over 100 alumni students of Akhandanand Hindi Highschool gathered and participated in this meet. The retired teachers were honoured with memento. The alumni students were invited on the stage to share their experiences during school times. The function was followed by lunch for the alumni students as well as present students, staff members and the chief guests.
Guru Purnima
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima the school students participated in different competitions arranged by the school. The winner students were felicitated by the school . The school Principal gave a speech explaining the importance of Guru ( teacher or mentor) in our lives.
Parents Meet for classes 10 and 12
The academic year has started so the parents of the students appearing for board exams in 2024 were called for counselling. The parents were guided by the teachers and Principal as to how they play a vital role in their child's performance. The parents made an active participation in the meeting.

21 June is celebrated every year as International Yoga Day . The students participated in doing yoga in the school campus. The teachers explained the students the importance of yoga in our daily life.

A trip to Science City was organised by school for classes 9 to 12. Students were excited for the visit . They visited the aquatic world, robotics section, enjoyed rides and gathered information respectively. It was not fun filled as well as informative trip.

Covid - 19 Caccination Drive 2022
Akhandanand School along with AMC conducted the vaccination camp for student on 06-01-2022 at campus. The students of age group 15-18 were vaccinated. The student were accompanied by their parents and the camp turned out to be a great success.

We were celebrated Hindi Diwas 2018 in our school with great enthusiasm.We held drawing and essay competition.All students took part in it and well performed.Our principal gave speech about the importance of a language of Hidni.All enjoyed a lot.
Teacher's Day 2018
We celebrated Teacher's day with great Enthusiasm on that day students were dressed in suits,shirt-pants etc and girl students wore saris. students teachers were co operating with them peacefully.At the end of the day teachers were given prizes by our principal admiring their performances.
Science Fair 2018
A science fair was held in Terf school. Our school took part in it. Some students and teacher went in science fair with inspiration project. They gave information of this project to visitors .There were many schools took part in it. Many stdents and other pepole took visit in science fair.There were some very innovative ideas worked out by the students.It was very encouraging visit.
Rakshabandhan 2018
We were held a holi festival of Rakshabandhan in our school with great joy.All students were happy and excited for it.All girls were tying a rakhdia from of ritual protection between brother and sister.They all became happy.
Independence Day
The 72th Independence Day was celebrated in our our school with great joy. A campus was decorated with balloons and festoons. Mr. D.A.Patil sir Was invited as the chief guest.The function began with flag-hosting &national anthem. We sang patriotic songs. The chief guest gave inspiration speech.Our principal also gave a speech on it. All were enjoyed a lot.
Saraswati Sadhna Yojana
We were held Saraswati sadhna yojna is the scheme by Goverment of Gujarat. Our School to provide free bicycles only to girls.
Rubela rasi karan
Measles and Rubella vaccination programme was held in Akhandanand School. A team of doctors successfully carried out the camp. The students were accompanied by their parents. It lead to the awareness amongst the parents.
Chintan Shibir
The school had arranged 'Chintan Shibir' programme for the parents and students of std 10 and 12 .The teachers and the principal explained the importance of their role in the results of their children. The teachers also gave tips on how to overcome the exam fear and score good marks.
Guru Purnima 2018
We arranged 'Guru Purnima' in our School.Most of the students took part in this function.They performed very well.Their performances gave a good message. Students of std- 5 to 12 performed in this function.There was quiz competition drawing competition ,essay competition . After performance prizes were distributed by our principal. Our principal gave inspirational speech about it. He thanked all the students and teachers who took part in this function.

We celebrated Praveshoutsav in Akhandanand School . Respected Mr. Keshavkumarsir (IPS) came in our School. He was welcomed by our principal. He gave prizes to the children who performed well in std 9th and 10th .He was glad to interact with the students. He also shared some of his experiences. Yoga We celebrated yoga day on 21st june in Akhandanand school. All students came on time. A trainer was invited in our school. Who guided the students. All students performed yoga as per the instructions of the trainer. They were also informed about the benefits of yoga.

Prakruti Shaikshanik Shibir
Students and teachers of akhndanand school went on educational picnic in natural garden. It is situated in koteshwar near Bhat Village. It is full of greenary and lot of numbers of trees and plants. All students became happy and knew about different plannts and birds. A students knew about organic farming. They knew more details about birds, plants, trees and farming. They enjoyed a lot.

We Celebrated 31 st December, 1 to 8 participated in this activity. All of the students go there in their classrooms. They decorated the black - boards with colourfull chalk - sticks. some of the students sang very sweetly . Some of the girls made delicious dishes of food. They at delicious food. 15th August-2017
This year the Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiam in our school. A programme was arranged on the school play ground .The national flag was hoisted by the chief guest of our school teacher Shri H.P. Shastri. The national song was sung by teachers. Our principal shri Chirag sir gave a nice speech about education and freedom fighters. The principal sir gave a short speech and advised to be ready to sacrifice for our country. At last the function ended with the national anthem.

The event of world yoga day held in Ahmedabad on June 21, 2017 was indeed an amazing experience. As a responsible citizen , we at Akhandanand school considering it as our moral duty had organised a cleanliness campaign " SWACHHTA ABHIYAN " on 26th Apirl 2017 in our area. Principal shri Chirag sir emphasized the importance of the mission of ' Swachh Bharat ' to all the staff members and students of our school. All the staff members and students took part in the cleanliness drive . we also arranged rally and hence made them aware about the ' Swachh Bharat movement.
